- 250ml dairy-free milk
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sliced bread – halved
- Maple syrup (optional)
- In a large bowl, mix together the dairy-free milk, plain flour, sugar and cinnamon.
- Heat 1 the vegetable oil in a frying pan.
- Dip the half slices of bread into the mixture and fry until golden (a few minutes) and then flip over and fry the other side.
- Keep them warm in the oven until all are cooked and then serve with maple syrup, if desired.
